Steve Clarke, Biography

Steve studied Graphic Design and Illustration at art school where he honed his skills as a fine draughtsman. These skills and his creativity led him to the acclaimed and award winning Asylum Modelmaking and Effects where he was a trainee model maker for ten years. Having served his apprenticeship Steve became the lead animator and puppeteer at Asylum and worked on over 500 shoots. He left in 1994 – to direct his first film that resulted in him directing commercials all over the world. Steve is still in great demand for his puppeteering skills and he is widely regarded as one of the best in the business today. Steve recently directed the successful 'Gushing Beans' campaign for Nestle (McCann Erickson London).
